Mr. Patrick J. Cassidy III currently serves as the School of International Program's Coordinator of International Student Services & Media and Director of International Summer Programs. Mr. Cassidy is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina (USC), where he earned his Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs, and The University of Scranton, where he received is Bachelor of Arts in Communication, while minoring in Entrepreneurial Studies.
Prior to joining Centenary College, Mr. Cassidy's served as the Graduate Assistant for Resource Development at The National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition (NRC) at USC. His duties consisted of developing, marketing and promoting the ongoing, positive and accurate image of the NRC to internal and external publics. His responsibilities also included managing and maintaining all of the NRC’s social media outlets, creating and editing video related content, and tracking the usable data from the virtual marketing outlets used by the NRC.
Mr. Cassidy has served in many roles during his time in undergraduate and graduate schools. His areas of interest and expertise include; international education, traditional and digital marketing/communication, orientation, first-year experience, campus recreation, and athletics. He has a background in higher education, digital marketing, sports officiating, and broadcasting/print journalism.
Additionally, Mr. Cassidy has also served as an active volunteer firefighter since high school.
